Bembridge Heritage

Who we are

Bembridge Heritage was begun in 1996 by a group of villagers wishing to save the past for the future. In 2019 we became a charity (Charity No. 1185187).

Our volunteers work with and for the community to share the history of Bembridge. We collect, record and present the rich heritage of the village and the surrounding area at Bembridge Heritage Visitor Centre in Weaver’s Yard.

What we do

We hold monthly meetings with speakers, films and archive events and stage an annual exhibition in Bembridge Village Hall. We also take topics from the archive out to care homes and groups.

Our Bembridge Voices project records memories and stories to share at a variety of events.
